There are many ways to donate food, clothing, and other household items for families in need within the community. Donations (unless otherwise noted) may be dropped off in the Donation Center, located in the hallway between the Fellowship Hall and Education Wing, or given to the office receptionist.
Food for All baskets are located around the church where non-perishable food donations are received each Sunday.
Clothing, toys, linens, dishes and flat ware may be donated for GRACE Ministries in Fellowship Hall beginning the Sunday prior to a GRACE Ministries distribution.
In the months of November and December, CUMC collects non-perishable food items to fill Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Baskets to be delivered to families in need in the Centreville community. This ministry is run in partnership with WFCM.
This shelter for homeless families in Fairfax County focuses on the needs of women and children. CUMC provides for the needs of residents with an ongoing collection through the Donation Center at CUMC.
Supporting homeless adults in Fairfax County, CUMC collects seasonal necessities for the homeless living in the community.
UFOs are distributed to children of low-income families at Bull Run and Centre Ridge Elementary Schools who benefit from receiving additional meals for the weekends.
