Adult Christian Education Program
Centreville UMC’s Adult Christian Education program is designed to help adults and young adults live faithfully and fulfill God’s commandment to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself” (Luke 10:27). Through classes, workshops and special events, Journey provides opportunities to help you deepen your understanding and love of God and others. In this program, you’ll find short- and long-term opportunities, topics that are meaningful and relevant, and biblical studies; classes and events are offered on a variety of days and at different times; and the courses are led by gifted and dedicated teachers – all designed to support and engage you wherever you are in your faith journey.

In both the Old and New Testament, God enters into covenant relationship with God’s people. Baptism is a sacrament, through which new persons are initiated into that covenant. This one-day class will prepare you for this important step in you or your child’s faith, which connects the person being baptized to God and the community of faith in a meaningful way.
To register for this class and schedule a baptism for your child, contact Jean Josefson at JJosefson@centreville-umc.org. Care for children is available in Sunday School classes and/or nurseries.
