FACETS Hot Meals – On the third Tuesday of each month CUMC provides a hot dinner meal for over 100 homeless men, women and children living in local motels and on the street.  Hot Meals is a program of FACETS.

The cooking team prepares and packages the meal between 3:00 – 5:00 PM.  The delivery team leaves CUMC at 5:30 PM to deliver the meal to motels and parking lots along Route 29 in Fairfax where homeless families can come to receive a healthy and warm dinner.

Society of St. Andrew PDF Print E-mail

Society of St. Andrew - The mission of the Society of St. Andrew is to introduce people to God's grace in Jesus Christ through meeting their hungers: Food for the body, God's word for the spirit, Community of love for the heart, and Opportunity for those who desire action.

Potato Drop – In May 2013 a large tractor trailer with 40 tons of sweet potatoes arrived at CUMC. Volunteers unloaded the truck and bagged the potatoes in 10 – 15 pound bags.  The bagged potatoes were then distributed to different agencies helping to feed the hungry in Fairfax, Prince William and Loudoun Counties.

Gleaning – CUMC groups help to glean fields or orchards in the fall through Society of St. Andrew.
