Pentecost Sunday was a day of celebration and new beginnings as 11 young people were confirmed here at Centreville UMC.
On a weekend when we also celebrated Pentecost—the day the Holy Spirit was poured out upon the Church—we were reminded that the same Spirit is still at work today. The faith that was ignited at Pentecost has been passed from generation to generation, and now these confirmands have embraced that faith as their own.
In many ways, our confirmands are the fruit of Pentecost—evidence that God's Spirit continues to move, call, teach, and transform lives. As they professed their faith and became full members of the Church, we rejoiced in the ways God has been working in them and through them.
Please join us in praying for these young disciples as they continue to grow in faith, serve Christ, and share His love with the world.
