Director of Children's Ministry

Blessy grew up in Chennai, India, in a Christian family deeply rooted in pastoral ministry and attended the Church of South India. Sunday School, choir, Bible reading, and life experiences played a foundational role in shaping her faith in God.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and has worked with organizations including Lufthansa, Thomson Reuters, and Centreville Day School. Blessy has been a member of Centreville United Methodist Church since 2016 and has joyfully served in various ministries such as Kids Quest, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and Grace Ministries.

Blessy is married to her husband, John, an engineer who works as a Cloud Architect at the World Bank. They have two children, Jonathan and Joanna, who have grown in their faith through CUMC’s Music and Children’s Ministries. Jonathan is a rising freshman at FCPS who enjoys computer programming, basketball, handbells, choir, and community volunteering. Joanna is a rising 6th grader who loves singing in the choir, playing handbells and the clarinet.

Blessy loves volunteering, singing, listening to music, playing games, baking, and spending time with friends and family. She holds the conviction that nurturing children with love, compassion, and spiritual guidance lays a strong foundation for their lifelong faith journey. In obedience to God’s call, Blessy has faithfully embraced her life’s purpose—to serve God through the Children’s Ministry at CUMC.
