United Methodist Youth Group

Sunday evening youth group is open to all youth in grades 7 through 12. During the school year, Middle School youth group meets  Sundays from 4:30-6:30 PM. High School youth group meets Sundays from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Both groups join together for dinner from 6-6:30 PM in the CUMC Fellowship Hall. Youth Group meets Sunday evenings onsite twice a month. On the remaining Sundays, the youth participate in Mission through TOP or enjoy a fellowship event.

An emergency care form needs to be on file for all off-site events. Forms will be kept on file for the calendar year and will need to be filled out again in January of the new year. You can download an emergency care form here: youth-emergency-care-form-2017

Youth Group Bowling at Bowlero, Centreville
Sunday, January 14  6:00-7:30 PM

All youth grades 7-12 and friends are invited to bowl with CUMC Youth Group for the first fun/fellowship event of 2018. Plan to be dropped off and picked up from Bowlero (13814 Lee Highway, Centreville.) Cost for this event is $15, which can be paid at the event. Youth Choir ~ Voices In Praise (VIP)

Voices In Praise (VIP) – Grades 7-12 Vocal Choir.

The choir is now directed by Jason Moon – JMoon@centreville-umc.org. Rehearsals are held Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 PM. Voices In Praise leads music in worship two times a month, alternating between the 9:30 and 11:00 AM services. The group sings at the 8:30 PM Christmas Eve service and take leadership roles in one of the Wednesday evening Lenten services. They participate with others in the Youth Fellowship in preparing and leading worship on Youth Sunday. In even-numbered years they prepare a musical to share in morning worship. Each spring they participate with other area youth in a youth choir festival at Kings Dominion amusement park in Ashland, Virginia.
