Centreville United Methodist Church is now accepting donations of non-perishable foods on an ongoing basis. In front of our main entrance you will see this shopping cart. Just drop your donations in the cart. No need to come inside (All donations will be quarantined for 72 hours before distribution to those in need in our community).
The Capital Area Food Bank is struggling to meet the growing demand, and many area stores are struggling to keep their own shelves filled, let alone make donations to area food pantries.
Here's a list of desired staple items, but we'll accept all unopened and unexpired food.
Black Beans (dry bagged or canned)
Pasta (any type – spaghetti, rotini, shells, etc.)
Cereal (any kind – not too sugary)
Milk (shelf stable)
Flour (1lb bag if available)
Jam/Jelly (any flavor)
Canned Meat (tuna, chicken)
Juice (shelf stable)
Diced Tomatoes (15 oz can)
Any canned fruit or vegetable
Any other nutritious non-perishable food
Thank you for loving our neighbors in this way!
