This past week the halls and classrooms of CUMC were transformed into a colorful Hero Hotline Headquarters where over 80 VBS Heroes and over 40 volunteers came together each morning to study Bible stories, play games, make crafts and lift up their voices in praise and in worship to God. Over the course of the week our heroes learned that Heroes are called to Follow Jesus, to Help Others, to Work Together, to Listen to God and to Show Grace. They brought in a total of $504.81 in offering and a grocery cart filled to the top with full size toiletry items - both to support the CUMC Grace Ministry Program. They learned that working together to serve God is not only what's right and what God wants us to do for others.  But it's what is good for us too because God knows what is truly good for us.  Just check out these smiles!
