April 24 - Mission Project
Young Adults are going to run the food distribution at the Centreville Library Parking Lot. Meet at the church at
5:00 PM. The distribution will run from 5:30-6:30 PM, and
we will be done cleaning up back at the church around
7:00 PM. Use the QR code to sign up. We need at least
6 young adults, but we welcome more!
May 12 - Karaoke Night
We’ve booked a private Karaoke room at the Lulu Cafe on May 12 at 7:00 PM. Bring your best (or worst) singing voice and join us for an evening of fun and friendship. (13838 Braddock Road, Centreville).
May 31 - Day Retreat
Join us for a day retreat in nearby Bristow, VA, from 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Enjoy the company of other young adults of CUMC, enjoy the beauty and serenity of the monastery grounds, and experience spiritual renewal. Our guest speaker will be our former associate pastor Ellen LaCroix Fillette. The cost is $35. Financial assistance available.
June 9 - July 28 Summer Study
Join our summer study for young adults. Monday nights at 7:00 PM, in-person in Room 216 or on Zoom. We will be studying C.S. Lewis’ “Screwtape Letters”. We will listen to the audiobook recording of each week’s lesson, so no outside reading is required. Just come and enjoy.
