To instill a love for God’s word in our children, third graders are presented with their own Bibles at CUMC each fall.  On Sunday, September 14, during both worship services, we joyfully presented six third graders with their Bibles.  On the following Sunday during Kids Quest Sunday School, children attended "Bible Fest" and learned that the Bible is God's Word and received guidance on how to use it. This fosters spiritual independence, helps them "know God and make Him known," and lays a foundation for developing a personal, lifelong relationship with Him.
