All Saints Sunday, November 1
On all Saints Sunday we normally have a time of silence where congregation members can lift up the names of loved ones who have passed away and then we light a candle on the altar to remember those loved ones. This year, since we are apart, we encourage you to place a candle on your home communion table.
During livestream worship, the roll call of names of church members who have gone on to glory since the last All Saints Sunday will be read. Then there will be a time of silence. During this time you will be invited to light a candle and share the name of any loved one you would like to remember as we participate in that part of the liturgy. You may also wish to place a photo of your loved one on your altar table at home that day.
