Lay Devotion with Kim Wu
I’m sharing a poem I heard yesterday that really captured my attention.
It’s when we admit we can’t do it on our own and we let go of our desire for control that God can take us on the journey He always intended for us. And the obstacles we encounter along the way can bring beauty and redemption. Beauty born of hardship.
As the last line of the poem says, it is the impeded stream that sings. Water that is calm is quiet. And it's true the stillness can be majestic. But water that ripples and cascades over rocks and other obstacles can captivate us with its beautiful sights and sounds.
What beauty is God bringing about on your journey?
