Cindy grew up in Upstate NY and is a lifelong Methodist. Cindy and her family have been members of Centreville UMC since 1994 and have supported both the children’s and youth ministries along with various committees and missions at the church.
Cindy met her husband John while they were seniors in high school here in Fairfax County. They have 3 grown children; Matthew (wife Julie), Caroline and Caryn who have grown up going to CUMC. John and Cindy are proud new grandparents and enjoy camping and going to local sporting events; especially Caps Hockey and the Nats.
Cindy graduated with a degree in Geology from West Virginia University and then went on to work for 30 years for Fairfax County Government as an analyst. She enjoys cooking, going to farmers’ markets, hiking, knitting and blogging.
