ASP is a construction mission, focusing on home repair.  This team partners with a team from Sterling UMC.

2027 ASP Trip Dates: July 11-17

The application period is from December 24 to March 1.  

Cost:  $200 ($50 of this is a Non-refundable Deposit)

Age:  Must be 12 and have completed 7th grade through Adult.

Location:  Will be announced in April.  Always within a one-day's drive of Centreville.

Team Size:  We are planning to have 5 to 6 work crews (5-7 people each).

Team Leaders: Phil Mohr and David Raich.

Final paperwork is due May 15.

APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT (ASP)

Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a Christian Ministry, open to all people, that inspires hope through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia. ASP’s vision is that substandard housing in Central Appalachia will be eradicated and that everyone who comes into contact with this ministry will be transformed. Teams of youth and adults from CUMC participate in these summer mission programs, reaching out with God’s love to provide a promising future to families in these remote communities.
