This week we packed roughly 480 grocery bags of food to be distributed to families in need at CentreRidge Elementary School.  Many thanks to the two shifts of volunteers who made this happen.  We are continuing to improve our safety practices, and we were able to complete the work quickly and efficiently.

The school is now providing breakfasts and lunches curbside to over 300 children daily, and the cafeteria staff was very pleased to see us when we arrived with the food.

Many thanks also to all who contributed financially.  We received over $1600 in donations this week toward this emergency feeding ministry, and we have turned those funds around to purchase another batch of food for the coming week.  At this time we are planning to continue packing food weekly as long as we are able (recognizing that the situation is constantly in flux).
