Our Wandering Wise Men Day 1

November 27

The star shone brightly against the dark night sky, and drew the attention of Gaspar, Balthasar, and Melchior – three wise men from the east.

"The season of Advent means there is something on the horizon the likes of which we have never seen before.  It is not possible to keep it from coming, because it will…What is possible is to not see it, to miss it, to turn just as it brushes past you.  And you begin to grasp what it was you missed, like Moses in the cleft of the rock, watching God’s hindquarters fade in the distance.  So stay.  Sit.  Linger.  Tarry.  Ponder.  Wait.  Behold.  Wonder."  - Jan Richardson

Today's micro-challenge:  As you enter this season of Advent, commit to finding space to experience the wonder of Jesus – who He is and why His birth is so miraculous.  Make a plan for how you will set aside time to recover your heart’s amazement at the wonder of Jesus’ birth.
