Our Wandering Wise Men Day 20

December 16

Frustrated by their slow progress on the journey, Gaspar tried to take matters into his own hands.  Could this mysterious horseless chariot speed them along their way?  Alas, the last remaining challenge – how to get this strange creature to listen to his commands – proved to be insurmountable.

“For outlandish creatures like us, on our way to a heart, a brain, and courage, Bethlehem is not the end of our journey but only the beginning - not home but the place through which we must pass if ever we are to reach home at last.” ― Frederick Buechner
