Last weekend our Appalachia Service Project (ASP) Mission Team returned from their trip to Clay County, WV. The team (15 from CUMC and 5 from Sterling UMC) spent the week building relationships with different homeowners while learning about the reality of poverty in central Appalachia. They also had the opportunity to serve alongside and form friendships with people from other churches in our area.
