The Angel Tree is when we purchase Christmas gifts for children and seniors who would otherwise not receive any. You are invited to take a tag from the Angel Tree beginning Sunday, November 8.
Please return gifts with RED tags as soon as possible and no later than Sunday, November 29.
Please return gifts with GREEN tags as soon as possible and no later than Sunday, December 6.
This year we are supporting the following organizations:
- Jubilee Project - Sneedville TN (This is the mission agency we work with in Sneedville)
- Hancock Manor Nursing Home - Sneedville TN (This is the nursing home we work with in Sneedville)
- New Hope Fellowship Church (Homeless Ministry) - Fairfax VA (This congregation serves unhoused families in the Fairfax area)
- Local families in need
As we receive the gift requests from each organization, we will add them to the tree.
Here are the instructions:
- Select a gift from the Angel Tree located in the Church Narthex (lobby).
- Fill out the bottom of the tag and leave it at church. Keep the top of the tag to return with the gift.
- Return all gifts as soon as possible but no later than Sunday, November 30, 2025.
- Place the unwrapped gifts into a gift bag. Attach the top half of the tag to the gift bag when you return it.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure the top half of the TAG is attached to the gift bag.

Angel Tree Hosts
We are seeking some volunteers to help "host" the Angel Tree in the Narthex on Sunday mornings between worship services.
Volunteers will remind participants to leave the bottom half of each tag in the basket so we can track who will return the gifts. Volunteers will also remind participants to return unwrapped gifts (in a gift bag) by the due date.
