The wise men were very worried about whether they would make it to see King Jesus, or whether they would miss him.  But then a man rode through who knew a thing or two about circuit riding.  He asked them, “Brothers, how is it with your soul?”  This John Wesley bobblehead asked some very penetrating questions.  By the end of their discussion, the men’s eyes were opened wider to the ways that God was speaking to them, and they felt a sense of kinship with one another unlike anything they had felt before.  Gaspar was so moved by their discussion that he confessed he had extra gold he had been keeping secret from his fellow travelers.  Melchior came to see the error of his ways in knocking Donnie into a Sneedville bag and leaving him for dead.  Wesley assured them that Christ knew all about their journeys and trouble and sins and could certainly save them and sanctify them if they were willing.  The wise men’s hearts were strangely warmed.
