As people created together, we were reminded that God is a Creator God — and that we, made in God’s likeness, are gifted with the ability to create as well. Through art, imagination, and the courage to try something new, we celebrate the beauty and joy God places within each of us. Whether experienced painters or complete beginners, everyone was welcomed with encouragement and compassion as they learned new skills and explored their creativity.

We are especially thankful for SunHee and the way she shared her artistic gifts with us. Her vision and creativity helped us see more clearly the beauty around us and remind us that life itself is holy. By the end of the afternoon, everyone went home with a beautiful watercolor painting of their own — and joyful hearts as well.
