On Saturday, January 24, our church was filled with frosting, laughter, and creativity at a cookie-decorating workshop led by church member and professional cookie decorator Emily Kirkwood.
Emily generously shared her gifts to spread joy to others, inviting us to lean into our shared humanity and connection through the creative process. Creatives never leave the world the way they found it—and thanks to Emily, we all left with new skills, delicious works of art, as well as joy, encouragement, and light in what for many has been a heavy season.
