Women’s Retreat Sistering: Seeing More, Together
Saturday, October 3 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
We weren’t meant to do life alone. We need women who will laugh with us, listen to us, pray with us, and walk alongside us through all that life brings.
Join us for a day of fellowship and encouragement as we explore the gift of sistering—the ways women care for, strengthen, and support one another.
Through the story of Ruth and Naomi, we’ll consider what it means to show up for one another, recognize God’s grace in our lives, and discover how God can work through the relationships we share.
Our speaker this year will be Kim Wu. Kim is part of the CUMC staff and a lifelong learner who believes our stories have the power to help us see ourselves, one another, and God in new ways. Over the years, she has taught classes at CUMC and, during the pandemic, wrote devotions for the church and led a study of Max Lucado’s Anxious for Nothing.
Whether you come with a friend or come on your own, you’ll find a welcoming place to connect, reflect, and be encouraged.
Lunch included. Cost: $40 (scholarships available)
