Melchior, who had a sweet tooth, couldn’t believe his good fortune at the discovery of the large cache of candy canes.

Today’s micro-challenge:  The candy cane reminds us of the shepherd’s crook, and how Jesus is our shepherd, guarding us and guiding us through life.  Even with Jesus as our shepherd, we still walk through dark valleys.  But He is always leading us along right paths.  (Psalm 23: 3-4) There are times in our lives when we pray for something, and God’s answer is not what we wanted.  But ultimately God’s response is so much better. Name a time when this was your experience.
