Welcome to Centreville United Methodist Church!
You belong here. Welcome home!
The vision of Centreville United Methodist Church (CUMC) is to be a welcoming congregation, inviting all God’s children to experience and share Christ’s transforming love.
CUMC’s mission is to love and serve God, to provide an accepting home for anyone who hurts, and to empower each believer to fulfill God’s purpose. Each Sunday morning, a variety of worship services are available offering the opportunity to gather to worship God and celebrate faith. During the week, a variety of small groups, classes, rehearsals, meetings, Bible studies, prayer groups and service ministries fill our building. Centreville UMC is also a gathering place for many community groups of people who are searching for knowledge and fellowship, need support, or who wish to share their gifts with those less fortunate. We share our facility with Korean United Methodist Church, Koinonia, and all are enriched by this partnership relationship.
Join Us for Worship!
9:30 AM Traditional Worship - In Person & Online through our website and YouTube channel
11:00 AM Relaxed Traditional Worship - In Person & Online through our website and YouTube channel
During both the 9:30 and 11:00 worship services, children 3 years through 6th grade are invited to join our Children’s Ministry mascot, Zebby Dee, for their own Sunday morning bible exploration experience called Kids Quest. Children begin the worship service with their parents in the sanctuary, and will follow Zebby Dee out of the sanctuary prior to the sermon. Nursery care for those younger than 3 years is available during both services. Click HERE to learn more about Kids Worship and Sunday School.
Opportunities for Connection
Food and Fellowship Time - Grab some coffee and light refreshments between our worship services on Sundays from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Catch up with old friends and make some new ones. On the first Sunday of the month, we will spend our time packing weekend food bags to send home through local elementary schools to kids who often go hungry on the weekends.
We have adult class opportunities on Sunday mornings, covering a wide range of Bible studies. We also have a variety of small groups that meet throughout the week. Some groups meet on Zoom, some meet in person, and some are hybrid (meeting in person and on zoom). Looking for more details about how to connect? Click HERE to visit our Connect Page.
