Lenten Devotion Day 25 – Stewardship of Your Talents & Abilities

March 22

1 Peter 4:8-11

Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaining. Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received. Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

Media: “Shooter” is a CNA (Certified Nurse Aid) at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.  He is one of the many who are helping to take care of one of our church members, John Osborn, who is currently receiving cancer treatment there.

Response:  What abilities has God given you?  Knowing that what God has given you is not for you, but for the purpose of serving others, how can you be a good steward of your abilities and minister to people?

Prayer Focus: Ask God to reveal your talents to you, and how you can use them to benefit others.
