Lenten Devotion Day 33 – Who Am I?

March 31

Psalm 121: 1-5

I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?

My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot be moved;
he who keeps you will not slumber.

He who keeps Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;
the Lord is your shade at your right hand.

Media:  Hear an excerpt from a poem by Dietrich Bonhoeffer, written while in a Nazi prison just weeks before he was executed.  While he wrestled with knowing who he was, Bonhoeffer knew he belonged to God.

Response:  Who are you? Who is God calling you to be?

Prayer Focus:  Lord, help me to be who you created me to be.
